£80m Manchester City and Chelsea target one step closer Prem switch.

PAUL POGBA has cleared the way to quit Juventus after resolving an image-rights issue.

CITY BOUND: Pogba has solved his image rights issues
That will alert the French midfielder’s suitors – Manchester City, Chelsea, Barcelona and Real Madrid.

City put their interest in him on hold last summer with one of the reasons being uncertainty over his commercial rights, with a former agent claiming a stake.

But Pogba, 23, reached a settlement on that last week, making a £6million payment, with a small percentage to follow based on proceeds from his increasing profile.

His image rights are valued at £20m – but there is still the issue of the £80m fee Juve would demand for the former Manchester United junior.

Meanwhile, Ilkay Gundogan, 25, is seeking a £110k-a-week deal to quit Borussia Dortmund, with City once again in the battle for the Germany midfielder.
